About Glandraeth

Glandraeth is a very comfortable bungalow ideally located within a short walk from the town centre and its shops, pubs and restaurants. A short stroll also brings you within easy reach of excellent walks and beaches - the Nevern Estuary flowing out to The Parrog and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path leading to Newport's golden sands and the golf club. The well-equipped kitchen leads into a spacious dining room and sitting room. The garden is fully enclosed with a large lawn, ample parking and splendid sun-trap patio and barbecue area. A great value, all year round base for couples or families.

The house is approached via a tarmac drive of approx 20 feet from gate to front door. The drive slopes up towards the house. The house has parking for 2 -3 cars. Parking is on a tarmac drive which runs right up to the front door. Access to house is via two large steps of approx 4" height each. This is a single storey dwelling. All rooms are on one level, except for the dining room which is accessed from the living room via a step up of approx 6". The garden is on one level.

Had a lovely stay in this warm and comfortable cottage. The chocolate and flowers much appreciated. Our second time at Newport and we found more walks around the parrog and the beach. Lucca loved the walk around the garden! Would recommend The Golden Lion for food, The roaring fire and dog friendly-ness!Hope to visit again.

Thank you for the flowers, chocolates, biscuits and milk. Had a wonderful week at this lovely bungalow. We had very good weather with plenty of enjoyable walks. Moylegrove garden centre with its dog friendly cafe was great. We were armed with sandwiches, flask & dogs to walk & visit the beaches daily. THE DOGS STORY - Lucy the Lab could not get out of the water and loved the beaches. Cassie would not go in the water!! But for 15 years old walked like a trooper!! First holiday away with us. Excellent!! Ardderchog, Diolch Yn Fawr!!!

Ideal location, close to the beach, walks and local shops. Comfortable, well -equipped cottage with a dog - friendly garden. Would recommend pizzas from The Canteen and curries from The Royal Oak. Sculpture Heaven - Way worth a visit! (Card left on notice board)

Second stay in bungalow but been to Newport for years and years. New Cafe opposite "Vic North?" well worth a visit . Shed is fun for fish and chips supper. We walked Dinas head - parked at beach near pub its a circle walk and finished with crab sandwiches! Not bad! Brill holiday. Thank you for goodies and treats.

Been coming to Pembrokeshire on holiday lets for the last 9 or 10 years and this one must be the best. Comfortable, warm and very well equipped. Excellent spot to walk locally to Newport Sands and the hill/mountain opposite. Good range of eating places to suit most. Great for being dog friendly.

Had a great relaxing holiday, The weather was good, sunshine most of the week. The dogs loved playing at the beach. The house was excellent and well equipped, the welcome chocolate biscuits were lovely.

We've had a great holiday and love this part of Pembrokeshire. Weather could have been a bit better but good on the whole. We loved the cottage, very well equipped and a homely feel, in fact we are all very reluctant to go home! Ellie and Rhys thrilled to find chocolate on their pillows and the chocolate biscuits for us were also welcome. Had a great take away curry from The Royal Oak but only Grandad could handle the Celon curry.

Lovely stay, Super location and very comfortable well equipped house. Enjoyed walk up Carn Lingli and Paddling across the river at low tide near parrog and coast path adventures - Aberfforest Beach a big hit with stream . Takeaway pizza from Canteen very nice.

Really great bungalow to stay in. Everything set out for a smooth arrival and stay. Best holiday let we've stayed in in Newport so far - Garden enclosed and great for children and dogs. Lots of comfort in the house with games for all ages and DVD sets. Had a lovely holiday and weather was kind to us as so all in all a very successful break. Great food in thee Kitchen Garden, Morawelon, The Golden Lion and The Castle (welcoming dogs was a bonus in the wet weather) Visited all our favourite places - Newport Sands, Newgale, Solva and St David's Newport Garage around the corner saved the holiday by fixing a new battery on our car, Thank you to Rob.
